In recent years, more time spent in nature and at home during the pandemic inspired a significant increase in pet ownership. Using unique shopping intent data and AI technology, the campaign reached new prospective customers who were already actively considering pet products.
To strengthen the customer retention and acquisition efforts, Criteo leveraged a behavioral audience to target shoppers who showed a strong interest in pets, beyond just a short window of their recent purchases. Criteo’s machine learning builds the audience based on observed shopping intent behaviors that indicate a long-term, lasting interest. By targeting the “Pet Lovers” audience segment, Petenkoiratarvike Fl engaged customers with the highest propensity to visit their site and make a purchase based on their historical interests, shopping journeys, and purchasing behaviors.
As a direct result of working with Criteo, the new campaigns brought 5,000+ visitors to Petenkoiratarvike Fl’s site.
